Helios Luxe, the premium watch retail arm of Titan Company Ltd, has announced the Indian debut of Swiss independent watchmaker Auguste Reymond, adding another international maison to India’s growing accessible luxury watch segment.
The launch comes as Helios Luxe accelerates its expansion plans. The retailer is aiming to more than double its market share to 20 per cent and reach a turnover of ₹2,000 crore over the next three years, positioning itself as a curated destination for independent, heritage-led watch brands.
Founded in 1898, Auguste Reymond enters India through an exclusive partnership with Helios Luxe. The collaboration reflects a broader shift in Indian consumer preferences, with buyers increasingly gravitating towards craftsmanship-driven products and brands with a clear horological legacy.
“Consumers today are moving beyond sameness and are looking for authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful stories behind what they wear,” said Rahul Shukla, Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Watches Division, Titan Company Ltd. “Helios Luxe is positioned as a discovery-led destination in the accessible luxury space, and Auguste Reymond fits naturally within that vision.”
As part of its long-term roadmap, Helios Luxe plans to expand its footprint to 100 boutiques across India over the next five years, with Auguste Reymond expected to play a key role in this journey. The Swiss maison makes its official Indian entry with handcrafted, hand-assembled, and individually numbered mechanical timepieces, backed by 127 years of uninterrupted watchmaking heritage.
The Indian launch introduces 23 timepieces across four collections—Origin, Unity, Heritage 1898, and Magellan. Leading the lineup is the Origin Lunar, a hero model featuring intricate lunar surface engravings and a Super-LumiNova–infused bezel designed for high visibility in low-light conditions. The watches are powered by the hand-wound UNITAS calibre, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to traditional mechanical watchmaking.
Prices for the core range of 21 models are positioned between ₹1.3 lakh and ₹2.5 lakh, while two statement pieces from the Origin collection are priced at ₹4.5 lakh and ₹7.5 lakh, respectively. All timepieces are produced in limited quantities, handcrafted, hand-assembled, and individually numbered, and will be available in India exclusively through Helios Luxe.
Commenting on the India entry, Sundar Klingenberg, Chief Information Officer and Deputy CEO, Auguste Reymond, said the market represents a significant milestone for the brand. “India is an important chapter in our journey. As an independent maison producing in limited quantities with close artisanal attention, we see strong alignment with enthusiasts who value innovation, heritage, and mechanical watchmaking.”
India’s luxury watch market continues to evolve, driven by rising affluence and a growing appreciation for global horological heritage. Positioned at the intersection of design, mechanical credibility, and value, Helios Luxe caters to both seasoned collectors and first-time buyers seeking timepieces that reflect personal identity.
Currently operating five boutiques across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Goa, Helios Luxe plans to scale up to 20 boutiques by the end of the current financial year. With the addition of Auguste Reymond, the retailer further strengthens its position as a gateway for independent Swiss watchmaking in India’s accessible luxury landscape.
